Georgioupolis, the Greek Hollywood

It seems that the Greek movie producers were touched by the nature and the beauties of Georgioupolis. After the success of "Uranya" movie, Georgioupolis has been chosen for two new movies, that will be on theaters at the Winter time.

Many famous Greek actors appeared at Georgioupolis. The directors, the crew of the movies and some of the actors were having their drinks at Summertime beach bar. We don't know many details about the movies yet. One of the movies will be called "First Time Godfather" and the leading actor will be Andreas Kafetzopoulos. We have also seen John Zouganelis at Georgioupolis, but we don't know what his role will be.

As soon as we find out more, we will let you know!

Uranya � The Movie!

The movie we have been waiting for, “Uranya” was on theaters on December the 7th 2006. Most of the shootings took place at “Fre” and some other areas near Georgioupolis! For about two months, these places had the look of a whole world from the past. Many people worked very hard to give the audience a very interesting story, a comedy from an old age, a comedy from…the sky!
